So close....

The cherry blossons are not supposed to peak for another week or so, but they were pretty to look at today.

Walking around the Capitol

Today I decided I wanted to get outside and walk a little, so I drove to the Capitol grounds and walked around. I thought about doing the Visitor's Center tour there, but the line was 3 1/2 blocks long and I did not think I could stand that long. But I had a great interesting walk.

Umm, Umm, Good

This is another advantage of living in the "big" city. When you cannot afford to buy lots of fresh fruit, but want a variety, just go to Whole Foods and indulge yourself. Everything tasted absolutely delicious!

Sidewalk Garden

Shrubbery has been removed; Adam and Cynthia finished what I started in digging and clearing a small area to make a garden. Can't wait to see things growing!

Winter Wonderland

A most beautiful snow covered South Boston.

My, my, my - what handsome young men! If I were only young! Alex White and Jos Mayo. I love these boys.

Friends

Marion and Jamie. She let me stay with her for a week and William and his family stayed Saturday night. BJ was VERY protective of Jamie, snapping at anyone who wanted to hug or kiss him. Jamie loved BJ.

South Boston Branch

The building is so beautiful. Finally, a real chapel to worship in.

Stake President Milton, current Branch President and wife - Gillian and Mary Smith, and past Branch Presidents Mac Bugg and Carol, Rob Mayo and Karin, and Otis Casen and Annette with Bertha Phillips in the red jacket. Her late husband Arthur was the first Branch President when the branch was formed. Missing was Rick Dockstader and Maxine. Boy, do I wish they could have been there!
