Wings of Fancy Butterfly Exhibit

Rainy day, restless mood, nothing that had to be done. What a great time to go to Brookside Gardens and view the butterfly exhibit. It was wonderful.

Beautiful things are going to happen!

They liked me!

In the upper right, I had a butterfly on each shoulder that flew away just as the lady went to snap the picture:-(

The "fellow" on the right walked around with me about five minutes!

More beautiful creatures

We had to be very careful to not step on any - they would land on the floor and just sit there. But they really loved the flowers and plants.

Loved the rotting fruit

They actually "flocked" to the plates of rotting fruit. Do you think we should try this at home?

Ah - I did it!

Everyone - and I mean everyone - was trying to get a picture of the beautiful, blue butterfly, but they would never land. I waited patiently for quite some time and was finally rewarded not once, but twice. Aren't they gorgious?

Yellow Ribbon Day

I actually went to downtown Washington and stayed in the DoubleTree hotel with William, Elisa, and Jamie for William's units' Yellow Ribbon Day. I apparently did not do a very job with the camera, but the one of Jamie eating is "Priceless" as they say! Thanks, guys, for a lovely time with you.
