second night at the Festival of Lights

I went to the Visitor's Center again tonight; this time it was the Mormon Choir of Washington, DC. I would have loved to have stayed hours.....they were super. I hope to go again on Friday night; I truly wish I could go every night!
The ladies with me are Rose Marie Simon, Milagros Sasaban, me, and Lydia Mathews.

Of course, with the lights turned way down, my pictures are a little dark.
The Northern Lights Dance Orchestra performed tonight at the Visitor's Center. They even had a young, eleven year old boy singing solo and he was really good. This is a swing band and they actually played "In the Mood" as everyone was leaving. It was a good evening.

Arika and Joe Orozco carried me to the Visitor's Center tonight to hear the orchestra.

I never get tired of seeing the Christmas lights at the temple...

Lilia Claude (r) and her aunt, Cris, and cousin, Mel. Lilia is a White House employee and could invite three guest to the Open House to view the decorations. She was kind enough to let me be one of her guest. I enjoyed this opportunity and I appreciate her friendship.

Some of the pretty sights of the White House.

Green room, Red room, Blue room, more.......sounds like the beginning of a Dr. Suess book to me.
Really though, everything was so beautifully decorated.

Lilia Claude, who made this tour possible for me. She works as a phone operator at the White House on third shift.

My Strange Soldier Guys

I "borrowed" this picture from Daniel's facebook posting. Daniel had to go to Fort Lewis for his two week training and he and William were blessed to get to see each other there. That was another answered prayer. Thank Thee, Heavenly Father.

Time to leave

At the house before we left for the airport.
Son, God be with you. I love you.
See you in the fall!

Thanksgiving Day

Thanks, Elaine, for the great meal and your generosity to all of us! Everyone was happy, but everyone was also having a lot of serious thoughts.

Random Photos

I cannot believe I did not take any photos of Williams with his children!
